Slow Cooker Brisket Sofrito

IT’S HOT OUTSIDE Y’ALL!!!  In Texas we are getting into those steamy summer months and the last thing I want to do is heat my kitchen by using the oven!  Therefore, I LOVE using my Crock-Pot. I developed this recipe for Beef Loving Texans years ago. Trust me, it’s tried and true and I have made it hundreds of times…literally!  I am a huge fan of sofrito and when I don’t have time to make from scratch I use Goya Sofrito with fabulous results.  Just add the ingredients to your Crock-Pot and hours later, voila!

Amazing in tacos, on nachos, lettuce wraps, breakfast pizza, breakfast tacos, on a baked potato, stuffed in a pita!  Let me know your version.  Leftovers are even better and this recipe freezes well.
