Once upon a time weddings were “typically” reserved for the spring but now, that is certainly not the case. Weddings are celebrated year round with each season offering its own beauty and personality. My daughter Kennedy is in the post-graduate stage of life… lots of weddings, showers, bachelorette parties, bridal breakfasts, luncheons, and so many happy celebrations. I’m at the stage of life where my dear friends’ children are getting married, and WOW… it is such a joy watching children grow from diapers to ringing wedding bells.
Recently, I was honored to host a bridal shower for Britt, the daughter of my very best friend, Meg. The bride absolutely adores cherry blossoms, so we thought what better way to celebrate her than a gorgeous cherry blossom-inspired bridal shower… Love in Bloom! The day was absolutely perfect. Outside our home was adorned with massive silk cherry blossom trees that created such a magical feel as guests entered our home. The look on Britt and her mother’s faces as they walked in was priceless. They soaked in all of the details and were so happy… It was such a beautiful day. Thank you @christineerusso and @kennedyaddison for hosting with me… what a fabulous team!
What is a bridal shower? A bridal shower is typically a daytime event in celebration of an upcoming marriage. Traditionally, it’s an opportunity for guests to “shower” the couple gifts for the home and prepare for their new lift together.
I absolutely love hosting, and am so excited to share with you all of the details that created a fabulous bridal shower to celebrate this special bride I have literally known since diapers. Best wishes Britt and Nicholas!
