It’s St. Patrick’s Day and let’s celebrate by making everyone green with envy with my recipe for Sour Apple Martini. A combination of sweet, yet tart green apple with a kick of calvados. Warning! This recipe is 100% alcohol so…you have been warned!! Enjoy!!
Sour Apple Martini
Serves 1
1 ½ ounces Hell’s Half Acre vodka
1 ounce sour apple schnapps
½ ounce calvados
Ice
Garnish with a fresh green apple slices
Instructions
1. Combine vodka, schnapps and calvados in a cocktail shaker.
2. Add ice, cover and shake until chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled martini class.
4. Garnish with a fresh apple slice.
Tiffy’s Tips
~Place martini glass in freezer to chill.
~Substitute your favorite vodka.
~Slice apples last to prevent browning.
~Calvados is a variety of brandy made from apples and sometimes pears.
