A Refreshing Summer Cocktail
There are few things that scream summer quite like a refreshing beverage. Sangria has all of the qualities of the perfect warm-weather cocktail, which is why it’s one of my favorite summer drinks! This light, refreshing, and fruity cocktail couldn’t be easier to make (and enjoy). The ease of preparation and ability to make in bulk makes it the perfect cocktail when entertaining a group of guests. Simply prepare in advance, garnish with your favorite seasonal fruits, and serve!
This drink combines fabulous fresh fruits, dry white wine, with champagne or prosecco to create the perfect summer sip. It can even be modified to make the perfect mocktail by eliminating the alcohol and opting for sparkling water instead of champagne, alcohol free wine and eliminating the brandy. Whether you’re dining al fresco, entertaining poolside, or just looking for a refreshing beverage, this White Sangria is sure to be on repeat this summer!

- ¼ cup brandy
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar or to taste
- 1 750ml bottle of dry white wine chilled
- 3 cups mixed freshed fruit (sliced apples, sliced apples, oranges, strawberries, peaches, grapes, etc.)
- 1 750ml bottle Prosecco chilled
- ice
Instructions
- In a large pitcher add orange juice, grapefruit juice, brandy, and sugar, stir until sugar is dissolved. Add white wine and fruit; stir. Chill.
- Prior to serving add Prosecco and serve over ice.
Tiffy’s Tips
- Adjust the sugar to suit your personal preference or no sugar at all.
- When hosting I prepare in this pitcher and serve. Make sure the pitcher is large enough to hold the volume of liquid and fruit.
- Use your favorite fruit options. Peaches, pears, apples, berries, oranges, etc.
- Always use a good quality white wine. Great options are Albarino, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Grigio.
- For a fabulous mocktail use sparkling water, non-alcoholic wine, and omit the brandy.
