My Favorite Finds From This Year’s Sale

We are officially a couple of days into the biggest sale of the year… the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Every summer, Nordstrom offers shockingly large discounts on this season’s new fall arrivals. It’s very rare that a retailer will place a sale tag on brand new merchandise, which is why the NSALE has earned a spot as one of the best annual shopping events. Last week on the blog I shared Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 101… which included my “game plan” for shopping the sale (read more on that HERE). To avoid buying items just because they’re on sale, I try to stick to 3 categories: basic closet staples, luxury splurge items, and gifts. 

Having so many fabulous items included in the sale can be a blessing and a curse. Many times we are left staring at the website thinking “where on earth do I begin?”. I am here to help! Today I’m sharing my top picks from this year’s Anniversary Sale, and in the upcoming weeks I’ll share more specific categories. From beauty and fashion staples to luxury items worth the splurge, the NSALE is a great way to stock up and save while preparing for the fall season! When I think of a closet staple, I think of items that are versatile and can be worn for a variety of occasions. These are pieces you’re likely to get a lot of use out of such as sweaters, basic tops, jeans, coats, leggings, undergarments, etc. 

The NSALE historically has a great selection of shoes… and this year is no different! This is a great time to save on fall and winter shoes and boots.

A ‘splurge’ can look differently for everyone. I see a splurge as spending more on an item than you typically would, think investment pieces! There’s no shortage of splurge-worthy items on the 2023 NSALE, and what better time to treat yourself than when an item is marked down?? 

One of my FAVORITE categories of the sale… beauty! So many of my tried and true beauty favorites (and new finds) are between 30% – 50% OFF! This is a great time to stock up on all things beauty.
