Cleaner Alternatives for Traditional Beauty, Cleaning, and Kitchen Products
There’s something refreshing about starting a new year with fresh goals and a plan to achieve them! Every January, I reflect on the year behind us and identify my areas for growth in the year ahead. Whether it’s through detailed New Year’s resolutions, committing to a few small lifestyle adjustments, or identifying a word or phrase to define your year, it’s a great way to take inventory of your life.
My 2025 phrase… Clean and Non-Toxic!!!
Following my Breast Explant in 2023, I began the process of eliminating a lot of the toxic products in our home and life. In 2025, I’m committing to a more clean and healthy life by moving away from the toxic products and opting for cleaner, non-toxic alternatives. Although this might seem small, I feel setting realistic goals is crucial to allow us to actually accomplish them. With so many non-toxic products on the market, I thought I’d share a few of the clean alternatives that I actually use and swear by. Whether it’s cleaning supplies and laundry detergent or clean beauty and personal care products, these high-quality finds are a great way to begin your clean living journey!

Laundry, Cleaning Supplies, Etc.,
On my quest to find safer products to fill our home with, this is the section that has required the most trial and error. These dishwasher pods are by far the most effective clean alternative I’ve been able to find. For laundry I’ve been alternating between the Clean People detergent sheets and dryer sheets and the Molly’s Sud’s products and have loved all of them! As far as basic cleaning goes, I cannot recommend this Branch Basics starter kit enough!
Kitchen
In 2024 I began supplementing my old pans for Caraway’s non-toxic ceramic frying pan trio and I have loved them. All of their cookware and bakeware is made without the toxins found in traditional cooking utensils, making your kitchen truly clean! We’ve also been loving Purity coffee beans, which are mold-free and actually have incredible health benefits.
Skincare
It’s truly shocking how many toxins are in leading skincare brands and just how much our body absorbs the toxins. I’ve been using this non-toxic skincare brand and have been loving the products. Extremely effective, non-toxic, and more affordable than most clean skincare brands on the market. A few of my favorite products below.

If you’re looking to move towards a cleaner home this year, I cannot recommend the AirDoctor Purifiers enough! We have a few throughout our home, and you can actually hear them working and removing toxins from the air around us. In addition to using clean toothpaste and retainer cleaner, I’ve implemented a tongue scraper into my morning routine to help remove bacteria and toxins!
