Why do we love Las Ventanas al Paraíso in Cabo San Lucas? Let me begin counting the ways. I will share with you throughout this blog and the years as to why this place is so precious to my heart. March 2020 we purchased our slice of paradise, precisely when the country began shutting down due to Covid 19, a condo at the resort that we hold so dear. We arrived in March to begin setting up our home and decided to return after the country began opening to visit.  We are SO happy and pleased we traveled as we have never felt safer during travel.

Greg and I met in 2009, traveled to Cabo, and fell in love with this property! We were married at Las Ventanas al Paraíso in 2011.  Nine years later, we are still in love with the property…and each other, of course. LOL!  

We love dining al fresco overlooking the ocean. This vast table is so beautiful with my unnamed fish, if you have any suggestions…leave them in the comments! The lazy susan and expansive table size make it the perfect place for entertaining.  

The home we choose overlooks the beautiful Sea of Cortez and the incredibly manicured property of Las Ventanas. Daily details in the sand are my favorite with precision designs.  As I write this blog I hear the soft sounds of the ocean and peace and tranquility unmatched.  Our terrace boasts our own private infinity pool/hot tub that is the perfect place to unwind after a day at the pool. The views are truly unparalleled.

The mosaic details hand placed in each bedroom are iconic to Las Ventanas. Everywhere you turn, there are details everywhere. From hand-carved furniture, to custom lighting, the design details are breathtaking. The light bouncing off the lantern on to my newest art piece from Pez Gordo Gallery, is one of my favorite touches. I love the mixture of furniture and found objects throughout the home. This lamp is so delicate and lovely, yet unexpected.

Our expansive kitchen opens into the open concept living and dining area complete with glass pocket doors that open to the terrace and stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. A powerful Wolf range and vent hood painted with the colors of Cabo, vast and open with a huge mirrored wall to reflect the ocean.  

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s all about the details!

• The iconic hearts of Cabo. As a guest of the resort, upon checkout, you are presented with a gift from Las Ventanas.  These precious hearts!  We have quite the collection after years of traveling. 

• Traditional Mexican planters complete with native plants of Cabo can be found around every corner.

• Handmade candles in unique shapes, designs, and colors offer an unexpected but traditional element.

• A replicated glass piece of a precious Mexican dress and shorts adorn our powder bath.  This is the sweetest art I have ever found. Another amazing find from Pez Gordo Gallery!

• Stunning vessels are found throughout our home in the colors of Cabo.

• Our front door! The natural lighting is stunning shining through the beautiful glass insets.

• We have 2 fireplaces located throughout the condo. The one pictured here is in our Master bedroom, perfect for the cooler months.
