Ahhh…my skincare routine, I would love to say that it’s simple, but it’s just not! I have tried everything, and am willing to try anything, but I have finally found a routine that works for me. It has taken trial and error and with each of those experiments, I have learned what my skin likes and doesn’t like. Like all of us, my skin changes with each season and aging, especially now that I am in menopause. You should adapt your skincare according to the seasons as well as when you travel to different climates. The mountains for skiing or cooler climates, the beaches for hot humid days. Just like you don’t wear a sweater on the beach, you don’t wear sunscreen to bed.
I am SO very dry due to the lack of hormones so I have to take extra steps to provide moisture! I cleanse my skin EVERY morning AND night with Dr. Barbara Sturm Cleanser. When I wear heavier makeup I add a bit of Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser for added cleansing power + a fabulous exfoliator! I LOVE and use my Foreo in the A.M. + P.M. when I am cleansing my skin, as it’s super gentle and washes away 99.5% of dirt, oil, and dead skin. It’s made with soft silicon combined with sonic action. LOVE!
