Where to Stay In Cabo San Lucas
This is a question I receive often.Let me start by saying this… there are so many incredible resorts in Cabo San Lucas. We’ve stayed at a variety of resorts in Cabo and have had great experiences. With that being said, Las Ventanas al Paraíso is hands down our favorite. We were actually married there in 2011 and have been going ever since! The service, serenity, and dining experiences are truly unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I simply cannot recommend this bucket list destination enough!
Other recommended places that we’ve stayed at or have been recommended by friends:
One&Only Palmilla, Waldorf Astoria, Esperanza, Chileno Bay, The Hilton, and Grand Solmar

What to Do in Cabo San Lucas
While my ideal itinerary consists of relaxing by the pool, there’s no shortage of fun things to do when in Cabo! I thought I’d highlight a few of the excursions that would make for a perfect Cabo San Lucas itinerary!
Hat Shopping at Corazon Playero
Custom hat shopping at Corazon Playero is a MUST when in Cabo! Exploring the array of fabulous designs and adding your own personal touch is such a fun and memorable experience. Not to mention you’ll have a custom hat as a Cabo souvenir to wear for years to come. Make sure to book ahead! They often do pop-ups in local resorts, so check with your concierge. While you’re out exploring, check out one of my favorite local art galleries, Pez Gordo Gallery and tell them I sent you!

Boat Day to The Cabo Arch and Whale Watching
One thing Cabo is known for is the beautiful Arch of Cabo San Lucas (known locally as “El Arco” or “Land’s End”). Nothing beats seeing the beauty of the arch up close, which can be done via a very quick boat ride. If you’re visiting from early December to mid-April make sure to keep an eye out for whales on the horizon! We took this excursion years ago, and it’s still such a beautiful memory.

Where to Dine Cabo San Lucas
One of the first things I do when I book a vacation is start researching the best restaurants in that destination. There are so many incredible dining experiences in Cabo I had a hard time limiting it to highlighting just a few. A few more honorable mention favorites below:
Acre, Zenna Los Cabos, Bar Esquina, Nobu, Flora Farms
Brunch at El Huerto
If you’re looking for one of the best brunch spots in Cabo, El Huerto is the place for you! Take a walk through the lush gardens to really soak up the beauty this farm-to-table gem offers. The breakfast menu includes a vast array of delicious options made with fresh, high quality ingredients. I highly recommend the Huevos Rancheros and Crispy Avocado Toast!

Dinner at Edith’s
Edith’s has been a staple on our Cabo itinerary for over 15 years now! SUCH a fun and festive atmosphere that just exudes Cabo tradition. The food is amazing, we love the tableside caesar salad and the Tampiquena with Center Cut Beef Filet is the perfect meal to split.

Dinner at Arbol
Arbol is one of my favorite restaurants in Cabo. The decor and ambiance is truly unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Not to mention the exquisite food and drinks. The cuisine is described as Asian Style Coastal, and there is something on the menu for everyone. I highly recommend the Spring Rolls, Lobster Fried Rice, and Wagyu Beef Stir Fry. Tiffy Tip: We always order a few dishes family style so we can enjoy a little bit of everything!

A Night Cap at La Botica Speakeasy
If you ever have the chance to visit La Botica Speakeasy… take it! It’s such a great place to grab a night cap to end the evening! It truly feels like you’re stepping into a time capsule and going back to the 20’s. Some nights they have an incredible live show, so make sure to get there early! My daughter loves the Espresso Martini and we all love stopping at the food trucks for an incredible gourmet hot dog or beef slider on our way out.

Dinner at El Farallon
Nestled on the side of a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, El Farallon is truly a bucket list dining experience. Enjoy a glass of bubbles at the Champagne Terrace before an incredible fine dining experience while overlooking the most beautiful ocean-side view in Cabo. It is definitely on the pricier side, but a great ‘special occasion’ dinner. Tiffy Tip: Make sure to bring a wrap as it gets chilly and the waves can possibly grace your table.
