Jet Setting in Jet Black
This jumpsuit is one of the most frequently worn items in my closet, especially when it comes to travel days. The fabric is beyond comfortable and it even has an opening in the back, making restroom breaks a breeze! Also, when it comes to travel day essentials, these sneakers are #1 on my list. Beyond comfortable and such a great price point.
Layovers in Lilac
I’m admittedly very new to the packing cube game, but let me tell you… the convenience and ease of packing can’t be beat! They’re such a great way to make the most of the available space in your suitcase.
Nationwide Navy
When it comes to travel days you can just never go wrong with leggings and a hoodie. I can’t forget to mention two of my newest travel day essentials… a Kindle and this electric heating pad belt. The belt comes in so handy when my back needs a bit of travel day relief!
Bon Voyage in Beige
Clearly I love a matching set on travel days, and this fabulous set is a comfortable and effortlessly chic look under $50. When it comes to my toiletry bag, you will always find my skincare essentials packed into these neoprene pouches with silicone covers to prevent spills and breaks. Trust me… these travel day essentials are game changers!
Ivory Itineraries
This ring is without a doubt my #1 travel hack. It’s under $45 and doesn’t hold the sentimental or monetary value of a traditional wedding ring, which gives such peace of mind. I also never travel without this portable charger, it’s great when you need a quick charge in a pinch!
Tiffy’s Travel Tips
I could share travel and packing tips for hours, but here are a few tried and true tips that I thought I would make a quick note of!
- Take pictures of the items in your suitcase. In the event your luggage is lost or damaged, having a visual record of the items in your bag makes it easier to file a claim with the airline.
- Packing list. Before packing, I make note of high and low temperatures for each day, as well as a brief daytime and evening itinerary. This makes it easier to pack seasonally appropriate looks for each day without overpacking.
- Luggage markers. While luggage tags might be a given for most of us, I highly recommend selecting one with a vibrant color or pattern. It makes it easier to identify your bag amid a sea of suitcases. Another option is tying a bright colored ribbon somewhere on the luggage.
- Dress for the occasion. I’m all about comfort when traveling. Varley and Spanx are two of my tried and true brands for travel wear. Chic, comfortable, and so easy.
- Be kind. This is less of a travel tip, but more of a friendly reminder to be patient with airline staff!
