I can hardly believe the holidays are already upon us! Thanksgiving is just one week away which means it’s officially time to begin holiday shopping, if you haven’t already. If you know me, you know I’ve had my holiday shopping complete since March…LOL!!

Next weekend marks the three biggest holiday shopping events of the year; Black Friday, Shop Small Saturday, and Cyber Monday. As we all know, 2020 has been a trying year for many so I am highlighting the small businesses in my community that I think could use a little extra love this holiday season. Many of them are even offering promotions and treats next Saturday, 11/28 in honor of #ShopSmallSaturday. Check out some of my favorite local shops below and please consider supporting a small business this holiday season. It means more to them than you could ever imagine!

The Light Blonde

The Light Blonde is all about sharing the light. Ali, the owner, was inspired to start this venture by Matthew 5:14 : “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden…In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” She personally designs all of her tees based on messages that she would like to put out into the world. They may be funny, encouraging, biblical or thought-provoking, but they will always come from a place of faith and positivity, aiming to inspire and spread love.

Domain XCIV offers gifts, home decor and gift registry services, among many other things!

This #ShopSmallSaturday, they will be offering 20% storewide! It’s the perfect time to stock up on holiday gifts for loved ones, or yourself, as sales this big don’t happen often!

C & B Furs

C & B Furs offers high-end and unique furs at affordable prices. Shop their inventory online 24/7 or in-person at Local Design Studios + Gallery every Wednesday from 10AM-3PM.

While they won’t be offering any #ShopSmallSaturday specials, SAVE THE DATE for their NFR/Birthday party coming up on Dec. 2, 2020 at Local Design Studios + Gallery. They will have shop specials with lite bites and sips from 10AM-7PM. From 4-7PM they will crank up the party with live music and more fun!
