New Years Eve: Dress It Up or Keep It Casual?

Typically, I am a bit melancholy at the end of each year before ringing in the new year but this year, like so many of us…not so much! 2020 has been a doozy with our world making history with so many surprises we never thought capable of witnessing. I am ready for a better than ever normalcy in so many areas of our lives.

There were so many milestone events this year, most celebrated at home. Holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and my daughter Kennedy’s 21st birthday with a drive-by celebration right in the middle of quarantine on April 29th. We watched as so many loved ones drove by, honked, and dropped gifts, all very much socially distanced (who knew that would be a catch phrase).

In the year of Covid, I took the world of social media influencing seriously amongst a pandemic. While I would have loved spending most of my days lounging in my Eberjey’s; I was getting dressed, shooting selfies, and learning to share experiences, food, interiors, and fashion with you. This brings me to the choice of what to wear on New Year’s Eve!

We will be at our home in Cabo and I cannot wait to share my attire as we will be having a socially distanced 20’s themed dinner overlooking the Sea of Cortez.

How will you bring in 2021? Dressed to the nine, casual, semi-casual or perhaps in your very favorite lounge wear? I am sharing three of my dressed up looks and three a bit more casual. Regardless of what you wear or how you celebrate…Happy New Year to you all!
