A Look Into Our Relaxing Lake Austin Spa Resort Girls Trip!
I think we could all use a little bit of much-needed rest and relaxation every once in a while. I recently had the most incredible opportunity to do just that at one of my favorite places on Earth… Lake Austin Spa Resort! You know those places you visit that simply take your breath away? That’s every corner of Lake Austin Spa! I’ve been visiting Lake Austin Spa Resort for over 25 years now, and having the chance to experience it with some of my girlfriends is something I will remember forever! If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place to go! To assist you in planning your stay, I’m sharing a Lake Austin Spa Resort recap from our latest girls trip.
The Girls Trip
I’m of the belief that girls’ trips are good for the soul! My fabulous friend Tanya Foster recently put together the most incredible girls’ weekend at Lake Austin Spa with myself, Brooke of One Small Blonde, and Megan of Megan’s Life Style! Lake Austin Spa Resort was truly the perfect place for us to catch up, relax, unwind, and reset!
The Resort
Lake Austin Spa Resort is a serene, lakefront all-inclusive retreat nestled in the Texas Hill Country, just 30 minutes from downtown Austin. The resort offers cozy, cottage-style accommodations, gourmet farm-to-table dining, an array of diverse classes, and access to a luxurious 25,000-square-foot spa. Every corner of the resort is designed to rejuvenate the mind and body through laid-back luxury and personalized service. One of my favorite rituals was enjoying a cup of coffee in the lakefront dining room while nestled in my robe. The most serene way to start the day!
The Spa
There is something truly magical about LakeHouse Spa at Lake Austin Spa Resort. The spa features 100+ unique services, including massages, facials, and body therapies. The spa experience begins with the serenity of the blue room where your therapist will greet you. On this trip I indulged in three magnificent services. I started with the 11-Step Hair & Scalp Treatment which uses Leonor Greyl products to stimulate hair growth and scalp health. I cannot recommend this treatment enough! My hair and scalp has truly never felt better. Then I had a Comfort Zone Custom Facial… I love that this facial is customized to your skin type and needs, allowing you to get the most out of the experience! Lastly I had a deep tissue massage, which was equal parts relaxing and completely restorative. Thankfully the relaxation doesn’t stop at the spa… simply head back to the resort in your robe and the relaxation continues!
The Classes
I absolutely love the diverse array of classes the offered at the resort. From energizing fitness sessions like TRX and Pilates Fusion to restorative experiences such as yoga, stretch and mobility, etc.! We did a private Aqua Stretch and Myofascial Release class in the Barn Pool and it was simply incredible. Monica led us through a range of pool stretches and it was transformative. We each targeted different “pain points”, I targeted my feet and ankles, and could literally feel the benefits of the myofascial release. I would highly recommend this class.

The Dining
As a self-proclaimed foodie and professional chef, dining is one of my first thoughts when booking travel. Lake Austin Spa Resort prioritizes “feel good food” that balances flavor with nutrition to make you feel good and feel well-fueled. They use locally sourced ingredients and herbs from their garden to create a wide variety of incredible culinary offerings. I love their belief that nourishment isn’t just for the mind and body, it’s also for the soul. If I could dine there every single day, I would!
The Experience
All in all, I truly cannot recommend Lake Austin Spa Resort enough. There is truly something so magical about the resort, the spa, the people, and the entire experience. You never have to leave the resort, and it’s truly a sanctuary for relaxation, reflection, and rejuvenation. I highly recommend Lake Austin Spa Resort for anyone seeking relaxation and time to recharge. Whether it’s a girls trip, couples trip, or even a mother-daughter trip, this is truly the place to go!
