Caprese Bites: A Summer Starter

A Fresh and Healthy Light Bite for Summer

These Caprese Bites include not one, but TWO ingredients that are in peak season and even more delicious than usual! A recipe that I once named ‘Tomato, Mozzarella, and Basil with Balsamic Reduction’ (I know, very creative), has now been rebranded as Caprese Bites! As I mentioned in last week’s blog, produce is seasonal, with certain items being “in season,” ripe, and full of flavor during specific months. Regardless of the name, this is seriously THE appetizer of the summer, especially when hosting. Nonetheless, Caprese bites are a quick and easy appetizer perfect for summer hosting and outdoor entertainment.

With just 3 ingredients and no cooking required, these bites are a delicious, low-effort starter sure to please any crowd! Basil, creamy mozzarella layered a ripe tomato slice, with a drizzle of sweet and tangy balsamic reduction… these bites will truly melt in your mouth. If you’re looking for a recipe that is quick and easy to create and serve, you must try these bites. Enjoy!
