When my friend and marketing guru Jennifer Sinclair reached out to collaborate with the fabulous designer Vitamin Etc. I was thrilled as I love the bright, vibrant colors and unique designs.
Vitamin Etc. is a small privately-owned American design company producing a stunning sophisticated collection of woman’s shirts and jackets, using only the finest quality 100% long-staple cotton, twill, chambray, and ponte. Best known for its high standing collars, Vitamin Inc., creates a flattering silhouette with a crisp contemporary look. Boutiques continue to carry the collection every season, their clientele continues to look for the ever-changing styles and the “go-to” aspect for their wardrobe. The line is as unique as the wearer, with a surprise around every runway corner!
Vitamin has been creating since the age of 7 when inspired by colors and shapes found in nature around her, she taught herself to sew her own clothing and began designing. She was delighted to find that, as a young woman, she could create her own distinctive and ownable style that gave her independence from mainstream fashion.
In college, a Vogue cover featuring Brooke Shields in a remarkable African-woven coat was the catalyst to Vitamin teaching herself to weave, thus beginning a life-long love of texture. She loves to incorporate the colors she sees around her in her North Carolina landscape into her designs, but most importantly, she wants her shirts and jackets to be unique, fun, and highly wearable, creating a new category of contemporary fashion.
