Decking the halls for the holiday season! 

We have officially decked the halls in preparation for the holiday season! Christmas is such a magical time of year, and what better way to get in the spirit than by bringing a bit of holiday magic into your home?! I typically decorate our home for Christmas in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving… In my opinion, the more time with holiday decor, the merrier! You can do as much or as little decor as you want… I just love capturing the essence of the holiday season through our home decor. In honor of the season, I thought I would invite you to a virtual holiday home tour! I hope this inside look fills you with holiday cheer and decor inspiration! Outdoor

We’ve always dressed our home with Christmas lights, but this year I wanted to add something extra special to our home’s exterior… hence why I added these fabulous wreaths! Such a unique way to add holiday cheer to the exterior of your home.

Entry

Upon entering our home, you are greeted by a beautiful white tree decorated with beautiful metals. In hopes of creating a tree that is inviting to those walking in, my vision came to life with white lights, white ostrich feathers, and variations of silver metallic leaves. I added various silver and white ornaments and placed it all upon a white tree skirt. Finishing the look off with two gold majestic deer. Walking past this tree serves as a daily reminder that the holiday season is here, and thus wonderful memories and time with family is quickly approaching! 

Family Room

This tree is by far my favorite tree in the house, and serves as the centerpiece to all Christmas morning memories we all share. Bright, filled with color, and a different approach to your more traditional tree decor! I’ve decorated the tree top to bottom with an assortment of pastel ornaments in shades of blue, pink, greens and more. Laced between the branches you will find a coordinating glass garland, and velvet ribbon in a beautiful shade of pink. As Christmas gets closer, the beautiful blue tree skirt fades into the background of gifts for our friends and family

Twin Trees

Years ago, I stumbled upon these stunning whimsical trees and just knew I had to have them in our home. Though a bit non-traditional, I decided to place one in the kitchen, and the other in the master bedroom. The kitchen tree is all white, with monochromatic ornaments and ice crystals on the beautiful pre-lit branches. Its twin tree in the master, is bronze in color, decorated with metallics, graceful feathers, and delicate ornaments. Each tree has a beautiful owl, proudly perched among the branches. Such sweet additions throughout the house!!   

Beautiful Additions

The holiday spirit isn’t limited to just large Christmas trees! I love to sprinkle smaller, more subtle reminders of the holiday season throughout our home. The tabletop trees photographed below are so delicate and unique… I just love the beautiful crystals and textures of these! I’ve also arranged a chic nativity scene in the study and enhanced it with a string of fairy lights. Finally, I fill a bowl with an assortment of monochromatic ornaments and fairy lights as a fun and intriguing centerpiece!
