Fall Fashion: The Colors of Fall

Say hello to the fashion colors of the 2023 fall season! As the weather continues to cool off, it’s time for us to take a look at the colors that will dominate the fashion industry this season. Every year, Pantone (the world-renowned authority on color) releases a Fashion Color Trend Report that predicts the most popular colors in fashion for the season. Based on this year’s list, we are gearing up for a very vibrant Fall 2023/Winter 2024 palette! I’ve always associated fall with rich earthy tones, so the wide array of bright colors came as an unexpected (but welcome) surprise to me. I love incorporating trending colors into my wardrobe for the season, especially when the colors are this joyful! Below I’m sharing the Pantone color trends for the season along with a color-coded list of items for you to incorporate into your wardrobe this Fall/Winter.

Classic Neutrals

Though the 2023 fall palette is full of bright and vibrant colors, we’re also certain to see a lot of the traditional and neutral colors of fall. Pantone’s New Classics are described as “traditional tones re-contextualized with a modern edge”. I love the idea of pairing the bright colors with these classic neutrals for a more toned down look.

Personal Favorites

I thought I would specifically highlight two of my favorite colors of the season. With red being such a hot color this season, I love this warmer Viva Magenta shade. It truly exudes autumn beauty! On the opposite side, I love the Persian Jewel shade of blue… such a calming and elegant color.

Now onto the exciting colors! These four colors of fall are vibrant, unexpected, and certain to add an inspiring pop of color to your autumn wardrobe.
