I love Fall and all that she brings, especially decorating with pumpkins for Halloween in October. Each year, I wait patiently, to find the perfect neutral tones of pumpkins. Personally, I love white pumpkins…it’s the new orange, right? This year I found tiny white pumpkins and unusually shaped gray, with precious character, but I needed a bit more. I refused to settle for an “ordinary” orange pumpkin so the search was on!
After scrolling through Pinterest, Etsy and Amazon, I found these precious velvet pumpkins locally at Lawrence’s gift and Domain XCIV in Fort Worth! LOVE! My favorite Halloween color palette includes bright, vivid green, purple, orange and, of course, black! My online search lead me to these FABULOUS purple with the most unique feathers! Some of my selections are from Plush Pumpkin, which are handmade velvet pumpkins made unique by their stems. All pumpkins are one of a kind with each one boasting a real, dried pumpkin or gourd stem. Fall decorating is meant to be enjoyed, have fun with it!
