Meet Molly McCook and Richard King, co-owners of Ellerbe Fine Foods.  I met Chef Molly and Richard when they opened their OH SO FABULOUS sustainable restaurant in 2009.  Greg and I were on one of our first dates and the chef and foodie in me fell in love! The restaurant’s concept highlights the freshest local and seasonal ingredients in its elegant, innovative, farm-to-table cuisine. They are sensitive to the needs of vegetarians, vegans and other specific diets and restrictions. Childhood friends from Shreveport, Louisiana, Richard and Molly decided to combine their talent and passions for food and wine to create the award-winning restaurant with many accolades throughout the years. Molly’s skills and menus reflect this heritage of culinary apprenticeship to the finest locavore chefs worldwide.  Richard spearheads Ellerbe’s wine program, White Gloves, Purple Teeth, expanding the restaurant’s services beyond on-premise consumption and retail.

 We have enjoyed watching the changes and additions of the restaurant throughout the years.  On Magnolia Street in Fort Worth, you will find their establishment located on a corner what is now a busy and bustling area of Fort Worth.  Once upon a time a former gas station, renovated and turned fine dining. I love the simple feel of the décor, menus, table settings and floral arrangements.  The staff….their staff does not miss a beat as they are highly trained on table service, menus and wine!  I love so many of their staff and you feel like they are a close-knit family!  Do yourself a favor and make a reservation or curbside!
