Dry Skin Essentials

If you’re anything like me, your skin might have a tendency to get dry and dull during the winter – yikes! I find my winter skin craves moisture, is in need of a radiance boost, and the dehydration even leads to breakouts.  There are quite a few remedies I use to help keep my skin hydrated, dewy, and glowing during these dry winter months. First things first… drink plenty of water!!! Being intentional about water consumption can drastically help rebuild your skin’s moisture levels from the inside out. While I have my own tried and true moisturizing products, I’ve also asked my friends and family which products they love. I hope you love these as much as we do!

FACE

Chantecaille Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask & Night Cream | Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Rich Cream

SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore Serum | Skinceuticals Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum

CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum

To maintain moisture on my face, below are two creams and a serum that are my go-tos!

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Rich Cream I use this cream in the mornings and find it absorbs quickly into my skin and works well under my makeup.

Chantecaille Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask & Night Cream I prefer to use this healing mask at night, and I’ve found it helps my skin feel hydrated and glowy in the morning!

SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore Serum I use this serum morning and night, after toner but before my second go-to…

Hyaluronic acid! I have found that incorporating hyaluronic acid during the winter months plumps my skin and helps absorb the moisture from creams. Below are two of my incredible options at different price points.

LIPS

Dr. Barbara Sturm Lip Balm | Avène Cold Cream Nutrition Nourishing Lip Balm

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask

I am extremely particular about the lip moisture I use (some might even call me a bit picky… LOL). These are some of my personal favorites that stay on the rotation.

Dr. Barbara Sturm Lip Balm – I absolutely love Dr. Sturm, and this lip balm is truly my holy grail lip moisture product. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but I’m telling you… it is BEYOND worth the splurge. I apply every night before bed, and my lips are still moisturized when I wake up in the morning.

Avène Cold Cream Nutrition Nourishing Lip Balm – This is my go-to chapstick throughout the day. I keep one in my car, on my desk, in my purse, and anywhere else I can store it. It truly locks in the moisture so well. Absolutely love!

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask – Though I have not personally tried this product, my daughter and her friends absolutely love it. Kennedy loves the vanilla shade and uses during the day or at night.

BODY

Aquaphor Healing Ointment – Dry Skin Moisturizer | First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

Neutrogena Fragrance-Free Lightweight Body Oil for Dry Skin, Sheer Moisturizer

When it comes to retaining full-body moisture, I have found it crucial to stay consistent. For me, I need to keep it simple to stay on top of dry skin and rely on these two lotions to keep my body moisturized.

Neutrogena Fragrance-Free Lightweight Body Oil for Dry Skin, Sheer Moisturizer – I absolutely swear by this Body Oil. I apply in the shower after patting to dry my body and it truly keeps my skin more moisturized than any other product!

Aquaphor Healing Ointment – Dry Skin Moisturizer – Our daughters both LOVE this Aquaphor Ointment.. Especially come the winter season, you will see this bottle around our homes frequently! Another bonus to this product is it doesn’t leave your skin extremely greasy… perfect for morning or night.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream – I use this cream every night before bed, giving it time to soak in all of the moisture overnight.

NAILS

DIOR Crème Abricot Nail Cream

DIOR Crème Abricot Nail Cream – I was gifted a sampler of this product during Christmas and y’all… I absolutely LOVE it!!! My cuticles tend to get extremely dry during the winter season and this has quickly become my lifesaver. This cream encourages nail growth, improves nail strength, and conditions cuticles. I typically use it at night before bed, and it has made a huge difference in the strength of my nails.

I’ve linked several more products below that are highly recommended by myself or others. I am always looking for new products to try, so please share any tried and true products in your routine!
