Believe it or not, summer is coming to an end and the beginning of the school year is quickly approaching! As a parent, the back to school season can be extremely overwhelming… The shopping, planning, and organizing of kids takes up a lot of time and energy. While every child and family is different, I remember when my daughter was in school, she always preferred to bring her lunch from home. I loved making Kennedy’s lunch with a well rounded meal all wrapped up in an adorable lunch box in the early days then on to a brown paper bag in the later years. I guess she was too cool for a lunch box OR it just would not fit in her backpack filled with endless books, and supplies.

Although I did love making her lunch each day there was the added time I had to factor in to complete this task… especially on those busy mornings. I remember it all too well. However, I/we did learn to start the process the evening before to make mornings run much more smoothly. I would add a little note each day, but I love these cute little cards and stickers that can easily be slipped into your child’s lunch. So sweet!
