When it comes to decorating for the holiday season, there are two very different people. Those who decorate the minute Halloween is over, and those who wait until closer to Thanksgiving. Regardless of when you choose to deck the halls, it’s time for my annual holiday home tour! I like to decorate in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, so now is the time to order a few last-minute holiday decor additions. If I had to describe my holiday decor style, I would call it a colorful Christmas wonderland. Twinkling lights, intricate ornaments, and unexpected pops of color. Whether you infuse the holiday spirit into every room or add a few special touches, festive home decor is a perfect way to capture the warmth of the holiday season! Outdoor Decor

Entryway

Let’s dive into the inside of our holiday home tour! I wanted the entryway to feel like you were walking into a welcoming winter wonderland. When I decided on a pre-lit white Christmas tree, I knew I wanted to decorate it with metallic accents and a cozy white tree skirt. I brought the vision to life using silver and white ornaments, and swapped out the traditional star with silver pines and icicle additions. This year, I added a fabulous deer figure for a magical touch!

Family Room

Ahhh, the family room. This room is the heart of our Christmas morning memories, and home to my favorite tree in the house! Though a bit non-traditional, this color-filled tree sets such a cheerful tone for the season ahead. Laced with pastel ornaments in shades of blue, pink, and more, alongside strands of colorful glass garland and soft pink velvet ribbon.

Twinning Twig Trees

Just one of these whimsical twig trees simply wasn’t enough. I have one displayed in the kitchen and another in the primary bedroom, both decorated with their own unique ornaments! I must say that I absolutely love how well these icicles complement the white tree. Each tree has a cozy brown or white owl nestled within. These festive trees are great for smaller spaces such as bedrooms, office spaces, or even apartments!

Beautiful Touches

Who says the holiday spirit is limited to just Christmas trees?! As we come to the end of my 2025 holiday home tour, I have to share my favorite festive tabletop additions sprinkled throughout the home. These tabletop trees are always a fun and subtle option, and you can never go wrong with a nativity scene illuminated with string lights. Honorable mention for the vibrant brush trees placed around the home!
