Decking Our Halls with PK Flowers Interiors

Christmas is just one week away and I couldn’t think of a better time to share our holiday décor with you! I absolutely LOVE the holidays and having our entire home transformed into a magical display of light, color and beauty.

Our interior designer Pam Flowers, and her incredibly talented team of “elves” at PK Flowers Interiors begin decking our halls around Thanksgiving. Upon their arrival, the unpacking, organizing, and assembling of holiday décor begin! Our décor is refreshed from time to time, but our collections and ornaments are from years and years of travel and family heirlooms. This year we have four trees, placed amongst the entry, great room, master bedroom and kitchen. Each tree with a completely different look, design, color and feel.  I love them all and each of their unique personalities.

Our newest addition is our entry tree. Last year I was determined to find a white, tall, and slim tree to welcome guests in our home. My vision came to life with white lights, white ostrich feathers, and variations of metallics and silver leaves, creating a look of elegance and grace.  A white faux fur skirt is the perfect finishing touch.  Next year, more feathers!

Upstairs you will find the great room, with our main tree massively holding court. This beautifully flocked tree, centered between two Italianate columns creates a holiday focal point for family gatherings and lasting memories. Elegantly placed on top of a sea glass blue skirt, the tree adorns an assortment of pastel ornaments coupled with hand blown Venetian glass balls. The Venetian glass balls are paired with coordinating blown glass garland, and velvet ribbon in shade of pink complete the look. This tree perfectly mirrors the colors of our home and art within this room!

The whimsy trees in the kitchen and master bedroom were such a fabulous find from Z Gallerie a few years ago. The kitchen tree is completely white with simple branches that bend and spiral with monochromatic ornaments and ice crystals.  The master tree is its twin with metallics and feathers. Both with tiny white lights and a proud, wise owl on each.

We replaced the simple green wreaths outside with three beautiful wreaths made with silver balls and wide silver lame ribbon. So simple, yet so very elegant! I could not be happier for the entire look!
